Using your softphone

This is a step-by-step guide on how to use the Shoretel Softphone functionality while away from the office.

Step 1: First, open the ShoreTel Connect App on your computer.
Step 2: Next, you'll click on your name near "Available (Deskphone)".  This will open another window.
Step 3: Now, you'll click on the bubble next to "Softphone".  When you do this, this will change "Available (Deskphone)" to "Available (Softphone)".
Step 4: Next, you'll change the "Default" microphone.  Plug in your headset.  Select the "Jabra UC Voice 550a".
Step 5: Once you've made this selection, you should be set to go.
If after this, you're having problems, first close the app and start over. If it still persists, restart your computer.
